David’s Concert In the Rain

The weather was not pleasant at David D’Or’s concert yesterday, but inspite of the weather, the famous Israeli vocalist managed to warm up the freezing public and manage to draw thousands of people to the performance. The atmosphere was electrifying and the public called david again and again for 3 encores.

The ‘Manufactura’ concert was the last acord in the 6 concers series of the ‘Dialog of 4 Cultures’ Festival, and D’Or was chosen to conclude the festival, and what a choice, it was, no doubt, the best and most successful concert of this festival.

Check out the following review from Radio  Bialistock whch includes also recording of ‘A Voice From Heaven’ recorded at the festival:

From the News:

“Voice from Heaven” was heard in Bialistock

In an over-crowded hall at the Philharmonic home of Bialistock, David D’Or, the Israeli music star, a singer of an amazing scale of vocality, sang t… a very high quality of musical arrangement David enchanted the public.

It was an unbelievable amazing event – the audience kept asking for encores, and idolized D’Or.  David D’Or is an international classical artist, and so is his voice, sometimes Tenor, sometimes Sopran, Counter-Tenor and at times Lirical Bariton… I heard people’s comments after the concert, that they never heard and never again will hear such a singe The audience walked in a dream

We thank you David for being here, singing like an angel, and managed to move and excite even the most clriticals in the audience…

Let us for a second show you how it was last night and for those that had the opportunity to be there I believe it was a special enjoyment.

For this famous countertenor most critics say that this kind of concert should not be missed.

Let's see why we should not miss such a concert ……… show …. Music ….

Countertenor David D' Or after 3 years again performed in the Sava Center in the organization of the Embassy of Israel in Belgrade on the occasion of the 40 years of reunification of Jerusalem and the Independence Day of Israel , on May 19th.

David D'Or had 2 concerts in one night.
In the first part he performed together with the Belgrade philharmonic Orchestra, Seiko Lee, soprano, Choir "Obilic / Krsmanovic conducted by David Eaton. All together they performed the Cantata for peace "Halelu "
In the second part he performed with his 5 members band. On the repertoire he had popular world music and his special hits.

David who has the voice of 4 octaves was educated in the Music Academy of Jerusalem.
He earned his money for education by acting in the Drama Theatre Habima. He started with very little roles which quickly became roles in bigger musicals. He got roles in musicals: "Bloody Wedding", "Cabaret" and the biggest and main role in "Cry for the beloved country "

He would have most probably stayed in the Theater if it was not for the famous Zubin Mehta who heard him and invited him to perform together with him in "Carmina Burana" After this performance he had series of successes.

He performed with the Philharmonic Orchestras from Israel, Budapest, Baltimore, Jerusalem, and Rome. In the year 2002 he performed with the London Philharmonic Orchestra at Trafalgar Square (over 55 thousand people came). He was also invited twice to perform before the Pope.

All critics say that concerts of David D' Or should not be missed.
Because of his very specific voice it is said the he has "the voice of heaven"
